February 2009
Can you say rhinoceros? Butterfly? Aaah-choo! "Bessoo!" "Tissue?" "Tankoo" Ella gets more and more conversational every day. She loves to walk everywhere, and just about insists on perambulating under her own power. We know the letter "B", sing the alphabet song (well...it's the song, but the letters are a bit garbled), sing "The Itsy-bitsy Spider" with hand motions (she distinctly says "spider"), and is generally just learning and growing rapidly all of a sudden. And she loves to be silly! She still thinks Elmo is the name of "Sesame Street", but has recently discovered the Teletubbies. And obsesses over them. Stands at the bottom of the stairs and says "tubbies?" (we watch the video upstairs).
Aaaww...

Whenever she decided she didn't want to see someone or pretend she wasn't there, she'd squeeze her eyes shut or cover her eyes. "I can't see you, so you can't see me!"
